The Friends of Our Lady of Victories (“FOLV”) is a registered charity (number 1120039) and is the Parent Teacher Association of our school. All parents, carers, teachers and governors are encouraged to take an active and supportive role.
FOLV has two main objectives: First, to provide a welcoming, supportive and social environment for the school community. Second, to raise money to advance the educational experience of our pupils.
It supports the school each year through a programme of curriculum enrichment to promote sports, arts, music, science and mathematics. In addition, it also helps with upgrades of the school facilities including furniture and equipment (ie IT and AV).
FOLV organises various fundraising and social activities throughout the school year. These include events such as Bingo Night, Christmas Party, Christmas Secret Santa Room, Silent Auction, Summer Fair, Summer Party, Cake Sales and more. FOLV encourages class reps to organise class social events such as coffee mornings, drinks, and picnics to help build the OLV community.
FOLV's success ultimately relies on the generosity of the school community- not just financially but also through the generosity of spirit by volunteering and supporting FOLV’s events.
